The best drone shows are rarely created in a single pass. Ideas are tested. Formations evolve. Transitions are rebuilt. Client feedback introduces new directions. AURORA gives our designers the space to work through that process.

Developed continuously since late 2022, it is DSA's internal creative and technical environment for drone show design: a growing sandbox of specialised tools.

Some drone show ideas need tools that do not exist yet.

When drones carrying lasers on motorised gimbals entered a production, no practical way to design their show existed. DSA developed a dedicated controller and workflow to choreograph beam direction alongside flight and light. A new hardware capability became a new creative medium.
