Drone Show Animations was founded in 2022 to expand what drone shows could express as the technology advanced.
That ambition shaped the studio's development. Design came first; the shows the team wanted to create demanded new tools and ways of working. Building those capabilities became part of the studio's practice.

The room runs on notes that address the work, never the person, and the best idea wins regardless of whose it was. Methods are documented, taught and refined across the team, so the studio's knowledge grows with every project and every person who joins.

Pedro Rosário
Co-Founder, Creative & Strategic Direction
With a background in design, marketing and drone technology, Pedro founded DSA with his brother João in 2022. He leads the studio’s creative and strategic direction, developing its international work with a clear ambition: to expand what drone shows can express.

Co-founder, Design & Technology Lead
Drawing on game development and 3D animation, João brings creative ambition and systems thinking to drone show design. Since founding DSA with his brother Pedro in 2022, he has shaped the studio’s shows, production methods and tools, creating new possibilities for movement and expression in the sky.
