PRIVACY

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE

Global ECM Solutions LLC, the company behind DSA, is responsible for the personal data this site collects. For anything about it, write to info@droneshowanimations.com.

IN SHORT

The site sells nothing, shows no advertising and asks for no account. DSA receives your name and contact details only when you send an enquiry. Three other companies receive some data from a visit: the hosting provider that runs the site's server and DSA's mailbox; Cloudflare, for the check on the contact form; and Google, for Analytics, only if you accept it. DSA does not sell personal data, or share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.

THE CONTACT FORM

An enquiry sends DSA the answers you give: your name, email address, phone number and its country, company or organisation, and, if you give them, your role, website, the show's date and your message, with the kind of enquiry you chose and the page you sent it from. Your name, email, phone and company are needed to answer you, so the form does not send without them; the rest is up to you.

DSA uses them to answer you and follow up, and to prepare any proposal or work you ask for: steps taken at your request before a contract when you write for yourself, and otherwise DSA's legitimate interest in answering the people and companies who write to it. The server also marks each enquiry with a priority and with signals drawn from its answers, such as whether the email address is on the company's own domain and whether that domain receives mail, so DSA can answer the most relevant first. Every enquiry still reaches DSA.

Each enquiry is kept in a private file on the site's server, which no visitor can reach, and normally emailed to DSA's mailbox. It is kept for as long as it takes to answer it and follow it up, and for any work that comes of it, then deleted, unless the law requires it to be kept longer. Copies in the hosting provider's backups last until those backups expire, within 15 days.

To keep out automated spam, the server counts how often one connection sends, by a coded form of its IP address, never the address itself, and keeps a coded fingerprint of each enquiry, so the same one sent twice is recognised. Neither counts after a day, and both are cleared as new enquiries arrive. This is DSA's legitimate interest in keeping spam out of the form.

If the form cannot finish a send, because the server cannot be reached or turns the enquiry away, it opens your own email program with your answers in an email to DSA instead, and keeps your answers in that browser tab for up to an hour, so they are not lost. The server may already have kept the enquiry. Nothing more is sent until you send that email.

CLOUDFLARE TURNSTILE

The Contact page loads Cloudflare Turnstile, a check that tells people from automated programs. Most visitors never see it. For this, Cloudflare, Inc. receives technical signals from your browser, such as your IP address and the kind of browser you use, and uses them only to tell people from bots and to improve that check. When you send the form, the site's server also passes your IP address to Cloudflare with the check's answer, so Cloudflare can confirm it. It sets no advertising cookies. The basis is DSA's legitimate interest in keeping spam out of the form. Cloudflare may process this data in the United States, where Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Cloudflare's terms: Turnstile Privacy Addendum (opens in a new tab).

GOOGLE ANALYTICS AND COOKIES

Only if you accept it in the cookie banner, the site uses Google Analytics to learn how it is used: the pages visited, the kind of device, the country a visit comes from, and how the pages are used: scrolling, links that lead out of the site, and when the contact form is started and sent, never what is typed in it. Before you accept, nothing of Google's is loaded and no cookie is set.

Google Analytics then sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_GVY497Q316, which last up to 13 months, and Google keeps the detailed records of visits for up to 14 months. Google is always refused consent for advertising cookies and personalised ads.

The basis is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time with COOKIES, at the foot of every page: declining after accepting removes Google's cookies, and does not undo what was lawfully measured before. Your answer is kept in your own browser for a year, not in a cookie, so the banner does not ask on every page.

Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited. Google may process the data in the United States, where Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Google's terms: Google Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).

THE SERVER'S RECORDS

Like every website, the site's server records each request it answers: the IP address, the page asked for, the time and the browser. DSA's hosting provider keeps these records for a limited time it sets, to run the site and keep it secure, which is DSA's legitimate interest. DSA does not use them to identify visitors.

YOUR RIGHTS

You can ask DSA for a copy of the personal data it holds about you, and ask it to correct that data, delete it, limit its use or hand it to you in a form you can take elsewhere. You can object to its use, and withdraw any consent you gave, at any time. Write to info@droneshowanimations.com.

You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live or work: in Portugal, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (opens in a new tab) (CNPD).
